Stayed 4/23-24/2024. Campground was very nice, good Wi-Fi, cable hook up, many wooded sites but open in the middle of the campground where the pond is, beautiful hills surrounding the area. Very quiet! They had had a bad storm come through a few weeks before I was there that brought down numerous big pine trees so they were still in the process...

This is a very popular and busy rest area. We pulled in about 5:30pm and all the spots were filled. We parked along the perimeter - nose to tail with other semi-trucks. Stayed one night a Monday on our way to port Aransas. Reserved on line, used our senior pass for a great price. Clean, lovely river alongside. Quiet. Handy dumpsters. Didn’t use bathrooms. Close to our highway.

We were in spot 22 a pull through site. The site has 50 amp power, water and the next-door neighbors sewer connection. The site is grass only. We were unable to level the coach. The water was either rusty or muddy some of the time. We paid $60 for one night here.
