Overall Rating
We drove by this place and decided to stop and ask their availability. They had no sites available but they ended up putting us in the overflow area which was perfect for us (and cheaper than a regular site).
The overflow area is a large grassy area near a small golfing area that they're currently building. It was nice and quiet. Access to the lake was nice too.
The campground store sells food, souvenirs and misc. camping items. The folks out here were very welcoming. We visited in July and the mosquitoes weren't as bad as another campground 30min down the road. There is a little bit of road noise but the location is great.
The cell reception was good enough for us to work on the road and make video calls without boosting. Although it got a bit congested at times.
We will definitely be back if we're in the area again.
