We would stay here again if we needed a quick overnight break on a road trip. Even during Route 66's heyday Seligman was not much more than place stop for food, gas and facilities. In other words, do not expect a lovely, historic downtown vacation experience.
Now, on to the campground. Although I couldn't determine when the facilities were built, they appear to be vintage with minimal update through the decades. After hours check-in was straightforward and easy. Although the bathrooms appeared to be sanitary, the showers do have quite a bit of old, damaged tile. The 50 amp service and water hookups were modern, good quality and we didn't have any issues.
Dumpsters are locked when the office closes at 6 PM which meant we couldn't get rid of our garbage from dinner until the next morning. In June the campground was hot, dry, and windy with blowing dirt. It appears the owners planted trees between sites recently; however, it will be years before they offer shade. The pool was full and clean; children seemed to enjoy the playground.
We used the small gravel dog area near the office; however, it was surrounded by weeds, some of which have sharp stickers (keep an eye out to save your pup an injured paw). The gentleman in the office was neither friendly nor rude. Cargo trains run right next to the campground - sometimes as often as every 15 minutes. Since the trains run all night long (and sometimes sound their train whistle in the middle of the night) I recommend bringing ear plugs.

Koa journey so it’s what you need when you stay in a journey. The location is mediocre. Sites are fine but it’s pretty bare here. And the trains are in your face and loud. I would t recommend for anything other than you need laundry, a stop for the night and full hookups service.
Very nice staff. Clean.

Hi,
Well my fault..Drove too long and had to stop. With no time or desire to hunt down reviews I defaulted to KOA as they are usually nicer, especially the Journey ones. Not this one!
As I checked in I noticed a cup with free ear plugs and started to wonder and sure enough once in my site here comes the train! Big and loud about 300 yards away.....I had some better quality plugs and fitted them in and had a fine nights sleep.
The rest of the park is kind of run down. That pool is still empty and lots of projects that seem abandoned throughout the park and adjacent lot.
In the scheme of things not real bad. Bring GOOD 3M ear plugs and you'll be ok if you have to make an overnight stop but don't expect too much.

The pool hasn’t been filled in a long time, by the look of it. The WiFi worked sometimes, but it was never connected to anything (so no internet, but a solid 4 bar connection to nothing). The power fluctuated. The water pressure is weak. THere’s not much shade, and there’s a few abandoned looking rigs.
It worked for us to plug in, dump & rewater. Added the second night cause we ran out of time.
On a positive note, the staff is great, we felt safe, and it was not expensive.

Campers were spaced well-apart, we didn't utilize the laundry or restrooms but they seemed adequate and clean when I looked in. Owner was friendly and discouraged that upcoming Route 66 events were canceled. (This will be hard on this little town.) Campground store had a few items and souvenirs. Wi-fi was sub-standard, Verizon was so-so but ATT was excellent. Still wintry here, owner has some grounds work to do when weather improves. We'd stay again. (Note: train tracks are close and busy but they don't whistle and don't bother us anyway.)
Where’s the Beav? would stay here again

We stopped here on the way to the Grand Canyon. We arrived afterhours and had plenty of open sites to choose from. We easily parked our 65 foot rig + extra vehicle in their 73 foot pullthru spaces. Seligman, AZ is VERY remote and as such, I contribute some of this park's quirks to this. Otherwise the park was clean, spacious, and the staff friendly. Some of the odd things:
1. When you arrive after hours they want you to write your credit card information on a slip of paper and stick it in a box. In 2018 we have things like PCI guidelines that are supposed to protect payment card data. This process seems a bit outdated an insecure.
2. They close daily from 10am - 2pm and lock that trash dumpster during this time.
3. They allow locals to use the laundry facilities. Had I known, maybe I would have boondocked nearby and avoided the $40/night!
NOTE ABOUT TRAINS: This park is adjacent to railroad tracks but the trains do not use their horns. We did not find it bothersome.

This was a late one-night stop after a long day. As far as KOAs go, this was not bad facilities wise. Level hard-packed gravel sites, 30 and 50 amp power, free WiFi, which worked quite well. Some sites with shade.
But the one thing that would prevent us from EVER staying here again was the trains. This is a major train artery heading from the East into California. The tracks are immediately adjacent to the campground. From midnite to 8:00 a.m., I counted well over 20 trains. You won't be sleeping much here. Too bad, because Seligman is a nice little Route 66 town. Founded in 1886, the entire town is on the Historic Registry.
