"Nice Little Campground, a Bit Noisy"

If you choose to bypass camping in/near Topeka, Paxico, KS is the next stop. Mill Creek Campground is a privately owned facility and many of the residents seem to be either full time or long term residents. This changes the dynamic of the campground to more of a residential location, rather than a vacation stop. Check in was quick and...

Hard to beat this campground for a wilderness location. I had 30 amp service, no water. We were up over 8200 feet above sea level. It snowed several inches the night we were there. They had it plowed by 9:00 am. Lush with vegetation. Gravel spots which were not level.

Fairly new campground on a pretty reservoir at the foot of the Rockies. Generous campsites. Mine was an ADA site (#62). It was paved and perfectly level. It also had a concrete walk to the bathhouse. Very quiet. Electric and water. Bathhouse had okay showers. You needed to keep pressing a button to keep the water flow going.
