Wanted to write this so others would be informed. There aren’t any indicators prior to the actual entrance of the campground so we drove all the way up just to find out it’s closed. As of September 30th it’s been closed due to a huge fire started by an unattended campfire. The sign says it’ll be closed until March 2022.

We have a 22ft RV and started driving the dirt road up to Oak Grove Campground. We didn't make it far before the road became really rough (water and food flying everywhere waaahhhh). We have a 22ft RV and started driving the dirt road up to Oak Grove Campground. We didn't make it far before the road became really rough (water and food flying everywhere waaahhhh). Lucky there is dispersed camping alongside the road! We pulled into campsite number 4? If you are driving anything similar or larger, don't bother going past site numbers 5 or 6. The road becomes even rougher, narrower with a slight rocky overhang.
Site was clean, relatively level with a firepit. Lovely view. Only downside was there was quite a bit of traffic to the campgrounds on the road (or whatever is up there)?
