Well you can’t really go any further, at least without getting wet. 14 spots, all back in and on the Arctic Ocean. No hookups, but water and electrical is available sort of… water is supposedly potable and located behind the red sheds.
They have regular 110v electrical outlets all over the sheds but I’m not sure why… you can’t really run them...
We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to explore Inuvik. We’re self-contained in our 8 m (25 ft) MH and don’t use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in early September. Stopped in to check out if they had a dump station and find out nightly rates:
1. No dump station, but one available at Happy Valley Park in town and I was told by the receptionist here that it was free.
2. Electrical sites available, $30/night CAN
3. Non-electric sites are $24/night CAN
4. Has showers, didn’t go in but Trip advisor says...
Off the beaten path 110 miles north of the Alaska Highway in the Northwest Territories. Small First Nations Community Campground situated on a small lake. Beautiful scenery all around with abundant wildlife. Walking/ATV trail that goes around the lake starts at the Campground. Sites are of all sizes on grass or gravel. We had no issue parking...
