Found this spot as a plan B since my first spot’s gps wasn’t accurate. This is a sneaky road to see but gos for here is accurate. Cell service good. The road for my suv was good when i put it in all wheel however i did see from trailer struggle with some close branches and major pot holes… they need the family to direct their way in and hear them cursing at some point ( some may be questionable for large trailer) views of windmills, deer grazing and total quiet. Beautiful night sky

Stayed here 10/22/2020 (a Thursday) and was the only person here. Quiet area not far from town with ok cell service when not in my van. The rocks right at the entrance look dissuading, but the first 20 feet or so is the worst of the road. Rutted in spots, but nothing too bad.

Great once you get into the big meadow part. Great view of the windmills. Many trees, many camping spots spread between the various parts of the meadow. Great especially for tent camping.
Downside: Good road up from Monticello, but seriously steep for over a mile. Like 8 percent in spots. Plan on 20 mph in second gear if you have an RV.
I wouldn't bring an RV over 30 feet in here because of the first 100 feet of access road surface condition.
Swing wide to come in off the main road because the access road starts narrow.
