Small park w/ 12 feet clearance under RR bridge to access it. Explore the bluff across the locks - very nice views on a sunny day.

We stayed here in September, 2018 on a whim - had another campground picked out, but the road was closed due to fire damage. Pulled in here and grabbed a site and luckily it was open for two nights! Warning - a low bridge and tight turn make for large or tall RVs a bit... scary! The sites are closer to each other than our normal style, but the view of the gorge, Bridge of The Gods, the old locks and everything about this place was incredible! We had a blast talking to the PCT hikers and hanging out with our neighbors. Loved the walking here, the old equipment, being super close to the brewery (fantastic food!) and Bonneville Dam. We enjoyed every minute here and would definitely go back - some places you get out of it what you put into it!

The sites are primitive, the train is very loud, and the bathrooms aren't so great...that being said, this one of my favorite places to rv camp...not many places give you a feeling like this one does...there is a drive-in for hamburgers and ice cream up the hill...and also a nice microbrewery with very good beer....the view is amazing,... more

Nice small campground between train tracks and old locks. Lots of open space. Basic restroom and shower but all clean and works well. Nice for overnight while on the way along the Columbia

My wife called for reservation and left messages call back. They did and were able to help us for 3 days Wed-fri. Great drive on I-84 East along the Columbia river. Exit 44 to campground is easy drive through town. You must go under a railroad bridge with a 12 Ft. clearance so be aware. Sites are right near river and an old lock that is no longer used with the adjacent island now accessible by bridge. Our rate was $35.00 a night with a $10.00 reg fee. 30 and 50 amp hook-up with water. Dump site as you go out. You are right next to Union Pacific RR but not nearly as noisy as you might think. Slept like a baby due to the fresh air. You can walk to town for burgers and ice cream. They have Native American fish market for seafood and smoked salmon- Yum. Very reasonable prices.
