Early May visit for one night, not everything was ready nor grounds cut & trim. 7 miles off the highway made for a quiet nights sleep. Showers and toilets are okay, nothing to get excited about but good. The owner arrived to answer a question we had instead of calling or texting back (thumbs up). We’d stop again if we needed to.

We have stayed at many Thousand Trails and this is one of the best ones. Staff is really friendly and the area is just breathtaking. We loved the fact that the lodges opened early and closed late giving us plenty of time to use it. We used the paid WIFI which gave us about 5Mbps but at the top of the park, we got decent cell activity.

There are 15 RV sites available behind the hotel. The sites are very well kept and you have access to all of the hotel’s facilities (pool, hot tub, fitness center, and business center). We used the cabin pass on opening week. It was cold but the backdrop is beautiful. The front lodge is nice and spacious and the free wifi there had 200Mbps so that's where we did our work and kid's online homeschool. Lots of room at each campsite with picnic shelter and tent pads. We reserved a hiking pass and were asked to arrive before 10 AM to accept the pass which allows you to hike all the non guided trails. Need to be off trails before 6 PM. Cool rock art on trails.
