Maple Creek Provincial Rec Site

This park has a fun island theme throughout. The staff was friendly and helpful and the sites offered plenty of private space among smaller, widely spaced trees. It’s close to highway 1 so there’s a bit of road noise and the spaces are the parallel kind I’ve only seen in Canada (sewer on the driver’s side but water and power need to come around from the passenger side). All in all, a nice overnight respite.

The park also has a restaurant that serves standard bar fare, beer, spirits, and ice cream. It has a nice outside patio. There’s also an indoor pool, though its use requires an additional fee.
