Linder Point Campground

This looks like a lovely campground. All sites have concrete pads.

HOWEVER, a drunk monkey supervised some of the concrete work on some sites....specifically site #14. Trailer should work, short 5th wheel might work. anything that has a single axle or pivot point. Class A motorhomes....fugetaboutit. It has such a slant (4-5 bubbles on the level) and we absolutely could not get leveled front to back. Ramps plus blocks...nothin'. Luckily we were able to catch a site in the very nearby Overlook Campground.

Site 13 also looks VERY uneven side to side. Most of the other sites looked ok enough.

We camped here in May, 2013 in a 35 foot fifth wheel. The price shown is with the national senior pass discount. It was a great place to take a break after two days of hard driving across country.

Linder Point is one of the campgrounds that is part of the COE Dam Complex around Coralville Lake near Iowa City. There are waterfront sites in some of the other campgrounds but we chose Lindner Point because of the full hookups. The site had a paved pad and gravel pad for the picnic table and there is grass between the sites. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Boating and Fishing are popular activities at the Dam Complex. We took a drive to see the dam and some of the other campgrounds and they all looked very nice. We enjoyed a short hike on the Woodpecker Trail near our campsite.
