We met our family here with 2 Class As and our travel trailer. The park was as clean as any we have stayed in. I almost missed their showers when I got home. The staff was extremely helpful in registering and coordinating our sites to be together. Lisa was awesome helping to coordinate some connection with local helpf for washing and maintenance as well. (I am not sure about the review requiring names of each guest. We had my wife, daughter and I and my first and last were all that were required. Everything was ready when we checked in, and check in took only a few min. We did like the security of the resort with gates in and out for our RVs and cars. Sean helped us to find our space and then helped us set up our camper. He also checked in throughout our stay to see if we needed anything.
The site was concrete, level and large. They have several sites that have a glass grill and patio table with chairs included in addition to the standard picnic table. It is a smaller park with less than 50 sites. But that probably contributed to the quiet. We met a number of really nice people as well.
We cannot say enough good things about Lake Texoma RV Resort and their team!! We will stay there often. It is now our go to site for the Lake Texoma area. We hope to be back soon.

I have been an RVer for the better part of 15 years or more, now. One of the primary rules of RVing is to be flexible in your travel plans. When our plans of moochdocking on my cousin's 30 acre property were foiled by a low-hanging tree that prevented us from reaching their property, I called up the Lake Texoma RV Resort to see if they have availability for one night. They did, and began asking me information, such as type of rig, length, year model, and then began asking for the names of all of the people in my party (I've never had this asked before at ANY campground), claiming it was for 'insurance purposes.' Seemed weird. The person on the phone was new, and since I was already driving in the direction of the campground from my cousin's neighborhood 15 minutes away, I said I'd just give them all of the information when I get there, instead of trying to answer all of their questions while trying to navigate roads unfamiliar to me. I got frustrated when she became more insistent about getting the information over the phone and hung up.
This is when things went downhill. "Lisa," the owner of the place calls me back and starts getting belligerent with me, insisting that I give her the information before I get there. She claims they don't allow "drop ins" and that everyone has to have reservations before arriving. I don't get her insistence on this, when I'm perfectly fine giving my information and waiting for her to 'put together the packet' for me while I wait. I was not in a rush, but I didn't want to be spelling out the name of the city of live in, the name of my street, my email address, etc, etc, etc, while on the phone on small roads while on bluetooth in the truck.
Lisa is the most unprofessional and angry person I have ever dealt with in all of my years of RVing. Even when I politely asked her to stop yelling at me, and faced away from her outside the building and proceeded to walk away from her, she CONTINUED to yell at me. She even threatened to "call the sheriff and have me removed" after taking my credit card on her way back into the building. At no point was I mean to her, but she was under the impression that I cursed out her employee, which I never did.
I literally was shaking due to being so frustrated and stressed out over dealing with her, and I'm generally able to deal with hostility pretty well.
There are stupid rules where some guy at the park "has to escort you to your site" and then he wanted to keep pestering me about moving further forward after I had already scoped out where the power/sewer/water connections were and pulled MY rig exactly to the point I wanted it so I could reach everything conveniently....Then he wanted to know if he could hook up my power for me, and I was like, "Look, after dealing with Lisa in the office, I just want to be left alone to follow my own processes... Please leave." I was very polite with him, but I have NEVER in all of my travels been pestered by a campground employee after getting to my site, and he wanted to do it before I had even unhooked the rig from my truck. LET PEOPLE FOLLOW THEIR OWN ESTABLISHED SYSTEM OF PROCESSES! Do not interrupt anyone's setup or tear-down of their RV...That's a major rule I don't let anyone break, as it's how you end up with things being messed up.
The park is full of very odd rules and restrictions, too. They are militant about any kids under 14 years of age "always" needing to be supervised. No bikes or wheeled conveyances are allowed in the park at any time. You can't even walk on their perfectly-manicured grass. You can't pull into the park until Lisa lets you through the gate. The biggest thing I found strange is they even have to escort you to the EXIT of the campground at the rear of the park, and that gate does not automatically open. For being in an area where there can be very severe weather, not being able to break camp at any point in time you want, hook up to the truck, and get out of there in a hurry in the middle of the night (being held hostage, basically) could be a life and death issue.

Pros: Management is polite and responsive. The park is clean and quiet (if away from the road). It’s in the middle of an area with horses and cows so has the accompanying smells if that would bother you. There is a well maintained pool and laundry. Had one issue with the electric and it was fixed the next day.
Cons: the entrance is difficult to get in and out of with a camper (single wide entrance and a 90 degree turn). They will tell you they have internet, you find out later it’s only in the clubhouse. You realize after buying an extender that it’s intermittent and you can’t really use it because it kicks you off. The pads are gravel and the site is on an incline. Rain washes any level you’ve set away and causes you to have to re level if you stay long.
