We needed a place to stop for the night between the salt flats and Salt Lake City- and well this is really the only option. It's pretty easily accessibly with the access road right off the highway it just a few miles on a decent dirt road until you get to the fee station. We stayed in a large parking area near the front of the park but there were more choices farther in. This place is an OHV playground, we were pretty jealous we didn't have any.
While our only expectation was a place to park for the night we were treated to a spectacular sunset and some great views.
Great AT&T service as well

“A great spot if you love OHV areas! Not so great if you don't”

Stayed here as I was traveling from Utah to Oregon. It's a dusty blah colored spot but works great for an overnight spot on your way to somewhere else. OR if you're into off-roading, it's perfect!

We pulled in as it was getting dark, and chose the second pull out area we saw. The area we selected was on sand, but there was also an option on pavement, and a few more areas on sand further back. The nearby dunes are used by ATV's and riders, but we did not see anyone while we camped there. Maybe check the weather before heading in- we unfortunately chose a night with 25+ mph winds and the sand was flying. Check out the ground around your desired site. When morning came, the sun and the wind revealed 100's of rusty nails near our trailer. Not sure if this was the case with the sites further down the road. Also, there is a train that runs nearby- it didn't bother us, but thought it was worth mentioning. It was a scenic area and close to 80, which was convenient for our travels.
