This is a BEAUTIFUL, quiet, TENT campground. The USFS has a camp site host there when they're open for the year. Empties the garbage, cleans the bathrooms. Its very well taken care of. The river behind half the campsites is a perfect distance, not too close for bugs, but close enough that you can hear its beautiful rumble. There are only vaulted toilets, and one, hand pump water spout, that IS NOT clean drinking water and should probably be boiled or filter. Out of ALL the sites there are two that I think could have a camper, one is the site hosts, the other is on the other side of the campground, the rest are VERY small for tents or small travel trailers. The down sides for some WILL out weigh the positives. There is NO cell service for MILES. You literally need to drive 40 minutes to get one small signal. No dump station or easy fill stations. There are a LOT of bugs by the river. The road is sub par getting there, although It is mostly paved. We also saw a bear when we were leaving so be prepared for some wild life that may want to snack on your food you left in your site or tent! Also 10$ per night, 5$ extra for car as well.
