Arrived on a Tuesday be for Memorial weekend. Camp Hosts helped lead us to a open spot. Well kept grounds. Nice showers and bathrooms. A nice find on our travels through. Would stop again.

The flatter sites are on the insides of the loops.
The park was incredibly quiet. The trails were enjoyable with the dogs!

We stayed in Jubilee College State Park campground for one night on May 5, 2022. We had reserved our site a month earlier but needn't have. There were only three or four others in the campground. The electricity at our reserved site did not work, and we checked three others before we found one that did. The vault toilets were usable but the shower house was unheated, had no hot water and was dirty. Again, I assume that we were too early in the season for everything to be ready for visitors. Park personnel had apparently done some recent work on one of the water faucets by a vault toilet and, even with my water filter, the water was cloudy. I tried another. The camp host was situated at the entrance to the campground area but the home-made sign tacked to the fence said they were not open. All in all the campground was a disappointment but we were just passing through and it was early in the season. The balance of the park looked terrific with hiking trails and activities galore. So yes, we'd stop again if we are ever in the area.

Early April and they had just opened up. We were the only ones there. Nice everything, spot, outhouse, water untested, but doable. Lots of road for biking.

Illinois does not take care of its state parks. The registration sign was pasted together with stick-on lettering and duct tape. The settings are usually nice but the facilities are minimally cared for though clean. I was hoping the trails might be open but since this is freeze-thaw season I should have known better. Many sites in the A loop are very sloped. Mine was minimally so. The electricity was on, the water was off. Only two other campers here. I lost cell signal a few times while winding my way to the campground. Ended up having 28 down & 6 up on AT&T with a MIMO antenna. Nothing usable on T-Mobile. During the camping season with full leaf cover and more people, it seems likely speeds would be much lower. It was okay but nothing I'd go out of my way to visit again. OH, one thing to note is the entire area is closed off for hunting for several long weekends before and after Thanksgiving.

Only Loop A is open in the winter. there was 1group in a truck camper that was saying, there was a sign that had a park number to call if u need a sight plowed for for you. There was a self pay station in place of the host spots. there was $2 discount for winter camping.

This campground is located in a Dept of Natural Resources park containing 3,200 acres of trails, camping, & fishing. We stayed here on a Saturday night in late Sept 2020 and the campground was very full, however everyone seemed to be having a good time and it was not noisy. This appears to be a great family campground and the kids enjoyed running on the grassy areas.....there were several multi-family gatherings. Nice vibe here. The campsites on the perimeter of the loops have the most privacy as the back of the sites are tucked into the woods. There are fire pits on all sites which were very much in use throughout the campground. We paid $25 for a Standard 30 Amp site which was not very level. Our picnic table was in bad repair but was usable. Did not go into the bathrooms so can't comment on those. We stayed there in a 27' travel trailer. There aren't a lot of camping options in this area for this price with large RV sites, so we were happy to have reserved a site in advance. We give this a 3.5 Star Rating.
