Plenty of shade, a wooden deck, fire ring, bbq grill, 50 amp electric and water hook up. No sewer, but dump station available. We were very near the bath house and laundromat. The bath house was a little dated, but very well maintained and clean. The laundromat had two washers and two dryers as well as a long counter for folding. The machines took quarters or you also had the option to pay with your phone.
We drove around the park - many new cabins right on the lake that look really nice. May want to come back to this park - pretty lake. We had stopped at a WalMart before getting to the park. Bought steaks for dinner and a few other items. Thunderstorms were near us and we got some rain, but experienced no heavy winds. There was some lightning, though.
Enjoyed this park, even though only one night.

Spent 4 nights here in a gorgeous spot #61. 50 amp service and water but no sewer hook up. Some premium spots do have sewer hookups. The park is quiet and we had groups of kids on both sides of us. The only lacking is WiFi and cell service but if you don’t need that to be happy this place is all you could ask for. Bring your boat and/or your floaties. There are boat launches in the park and a swim beach. Tall pines and hardwood trees keep almost very site shaded. Roads are blacktop as are the sites. We had no problem leveling. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell you’re in the rural south. Highest ratings from us.

Stayed in campsite #52. Back-in site with asphalt parking, picnic table and fire ring. 15A/30A/50A, and water. No deck, sewer, Wi-Fi, and cable TV hookups. It has a large area on door/awning side. Awning faced west but the trees provided ample shade from the evening sun shining underneath. The spot is well spaced from other sites. The site is located near the lake. I wish the site had a paved patio or deck like site 51 and 54 on either side. Nearest neighbor was at least 30-40 ft. Away. Roads in the park were asphalt/concrete/gravel.
Both AT&T and Verizon had low signal (2 bars each). AT&T Speedtest = 16.8 Mbps down, 1.4 Mbps up. We camped in a Travel Trailer. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Jimmie Davis State Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park had some really nice looking cabins/lodges. Our RV site was very close to the boat dock which was very convenient. We fished at night in the lake and from the dock. The entire park was rather empty, park ranger said it was unusual, but, we were there only a couple of weeks after hurricane Ida landed a few hours south so maybe that impacted the crowd and the fishing.
We're looking forward to going back and fishing more of the lake. The fishing was slow but we still caught a few bass, bream and catfish.

Campsites were clear cut some time between the last google earth photos and 2020. I would pick a campsite on the lake if available as those seem to have more shade. In the heat of the summer having a boat would probably make it a better experience. Probably a great place to stay when the weather is really nice.
