Hurricane Landing

We came with our 40 foot rig and had tons of space. We were camping through Christmas and there was no one else there except camp host at the park. Road around campground is nice and big and the spots were huge and had easy room for us to maneuver. It is 24 a night with water and electricity. There is also a dump station at the campground.

The sites themselves were very good--well thought out, level, spacious. Hookups worked great. The campground itself was in a natural setting, at then end of rural road. Lots of lovely nighttime sounds from critters in the marshy surrounds. Not many other campers here on a winter weekend but I expect it gets busy in nice weather.

Our noise ding comes from one other camper playing music quite loudly well into the night. We had this experience at another campground recently as well...again may have been bc it was nearly empty but on the other hand may get amplified w more people. Some trash around and bathrooms not the cleanest. If we came back to Oxford, we might try another campground to see if we could do better, but we'd also came back here as well.
