“Beautiful and remote right on the Williamson River!”

This is a beautiful and remote National Forest campground is located 30 miles outside of Chiloquin, OR. Located right on the head of the Williamson River (hence the name), this small campground is quiet, remote and very peaceful.
During our 5 day stay we were the only campers there though we did see the Ranger a couple of times and some other people drove up to check it out as well.
There are only 2 sites out of about 5 that could accommodate a rig our size (30' TT and extra cab long bed truck) and we would not recommend this to anything remotely larger. We also recommend coming up to the camp before driving your rig up here to verify you could make it.
We stayed here in July 2015 and the summer weather was perfect. The river was really nice to cool off in and has abundant fishing (though we did not fish).
There is a vault toilet and kitchen water drains but NO dumps or water available.
There is no cell phone coverage in this area but if you are looking for some peace and quiet this is definitely the place!
