Escaping the heat wave of summer '24 we HAD TO have hookups and found this relatively new campground/RV park online. We were EXTREMELY surprised and quite pleased to discover that the new owners are going to great lengths to make this small park a very enjoyable and welcoming one. Long, level sites with 50 amp hookups (50to30 connectors are available for free use by us "30ampers"), water and sewer connections, free wifi, private restrooms with showers that look like something from a nice home rather than a campground. The showers we had were terrific. There is also an outdoor seating area adjacent to their communal 'kitchen' with a propane bbq and sink with large stainless counter for free use by their guests, as well as a fridge for ice. As stated - VERY accommodating. Also supplied at each site is a folder of information about the town and the surrounding area. Military and other discounts apply to the base rate we paid, with fair weekly and monthly rates also posted. This little town has a number of things to recommend it, but it does lack some basic amenities such as a gas station or grocery store. For RVrs that's not a problem if you simply stock up before arriving, and all these are available nearby. We will certainly remember the location and attractions for this small RV park in the middle of the Nevada desert on highway 95 between Reno and Las Vegas. We use Consumer Cellular and that's not on the list of cell companies, but we had a good LTE connection with download speeds averaging about 60mbps.

We love this town so much we joined the historical society. The locals are so welcoming and kind. They really care about this town. The owner has a bike you can ride around-a communal fire pit- and the bathrooms are super clean! Couldnt recommend this place more. Pull thru sites perfect for big rigs. Very affordable. And great boondocking near by.

We spent the day in Death Valley and wanted to get a couple of hours up the road on the way back to Idaho. We found Goldfield Miners Camp on Campendium and decided to stop in for a look. Glad we did. The owners have created a nice little RV park in a historic town that seems to be trying to come back from years of neglect.
The RV park is well maintained, has nice clean showers. There is a nice common area with a fire pit, large party table, and string lights. Most campsites have full hook-ups, but there are a couple with electricity only. Spot #402F has a good size tree that would be nice in the hotter months. This little RV park is definitely a good overnight stop if you are traveling through Nevada.
We hope the town will be successful in it’s efforts at revival. There are some nice historic buildings around the town that have been here since 1900 and have survived floods and fires.

Located just a block off the highway, this gem of a stopover campground couldn’t be better. Surrounded by listing, rusted mobile homes on one side, an imposing, stone, former telegraph edifice on another side and just a short walk to the local watering hole, it provides everything you need, including a beach cruiser bicycle for a sunset ride around town. It’s surprisingly quiet. We could hear the clip clop of donkey hooves as a local walked his pet home from the bar. Goldfield and its residents are well worth making it a destination. Just bring your own coffee in case the Dinky Diner is closed.

Daher vorher tanken.
Einen Supermarkt findet man in Tonopah.

We had no plans to go thru Goldfield city. But, however Death Valley was closed, this interesting town, was in our route. We've decided to find a RV park - and this one was the perfect choice. We did not do a pre reservation - but there was so easy to book it.
Nice infrastructure - fool huck up.
Would recommend it.
