When I first spoke with the owner, Rusty, I got a good vibe from him right from the beginning. He told me that the had just purchased the RV park earlier this year and was planning on several upgrades. When we visited the park about a month prior to our first stay, Rusty took my wife and I around the park to show us what was available to both residents and guests. We decided that we'd give Georgia Mountain RV park a try. We have never been disappointed with our stays here at GA Mtn. Great folks, good location, good amenities and reasonable prices.

The RV park is great with all the trees - they are adding another 70 sites in the back with a ton of new amenities! Washer/dryer available for $2 per load!! Only a few minutes to Guntersville and the lake! You can walk the lake, go grab a bite to eat or go down to City Harbor! We camped at Georgia Mountain RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I’m typing this as we are pulling off. I’m super sad to be leaving! We will be back for sure. We took our first family RV trip with our little boys (4,2, and 7 months). After looking into parks/campsite all within a 2 hour drive of Madison. This was the place to come. The reviews were exactly the kind of place we were looking for. When I say it’s everything as described, it is. The grounds are extremely clean from bathrooms, pool, laundry, etc. peaceful beyond belief. Everyone was sweet to our family! We picked some apples and pears off the trees near our site (B1). Our boys had a blast in the pool, playing in the horse shoe pits, going on their hike on the trail, making s’mores, eating outside. This momma and daddy are going to cherish this memories forever. Rick was super helpful with whatever we needed. About to check our calendar to see when we can make a trip back. We are in love! Thank you for such a sweet spot and a much needed break away from the quarantine life! We were able to social distance and still feel like we were away on a vacation! Our boys are exhausted, sad to leave, and happy to have had so much fun.

This campground is so charming! The people were super nice and welcoming. You can see the owner/employees take care of the place and is well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean with large showers and the laundry room has nice machines with magazines and books to read as well as a change machine that works!!!!!!! It has excellent cell signal. It also actually does have wifi! We haven’t been Rving very long but so far it’s been our experience that most campgrounds state they have WiFi but they always seem to be right in the middle of upgrading or repairing it. Lol. The only negative thing I can say is that we didn’t have reservations and when we first pulled in the man who works in the office came pulling up on his golf cart and was kind of rude and not very welcoming. However a couple days later we ran into the owner and he was super welcoming and friendly.

Washers & dryers & showers. You can purchase propane. There are hiking trails just behind the camp. The owners said there is good fishing in the area. Reasonable rate of $30 per night, includes tax. There are restaurants, fast food, grocery stores & gas within 5 miles. The is a cell tower on their property, so reception was great for everything but T Mobile. We would definitely stay here again.

The RV Park is very well maintained, you can tell the owners love to garden, with Koi ponds and butterfly bushes around the park. The park has lots of pine trees which gives it a campground feel, but it's still close to town. The laundry room and bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
They are very responsive to voicemail inquiries and will do their best to accommodate guests.
There is a pool, horse shoes, rec room, laundry, and propane refill. Excellent phone signal because there is cell tower in the park.
Guntersville is a nice little town 45 minutes from Huntsville, AL.
