The River when it has water is just across the street basically. There are a couple swimming holes about 1/4 to 1/2 mile south from the campground, but if you are looking to camp by a river or a place for river type activities this is probably not the place to go because California is in the middle of a drought and that river hasn’t seen much water in years.

Idk, but everything around is within driving distance.

We never found a direct path… had to hike back down the road and in to the day park to get to the river. If you’re looking for a campground next to a river, this is not it.
