Very Quite And Clean. The Stay Limit Is Now 7 Days, Not 10. There Is A Police Patrol During The Day That Will Issue A Free Camping Permit. The Gates Close From 11pm To 4am. You Can Get Out But Not Back In Fyi. Lots Of Space For Dogs.

We stayed here overnight and would have stayed for several days if time allowed. Nice, quite, well maintained and gorgeous park. There were two other campers in the area, but they left us the best spot in the park. We were right on the lake shore, the lot was level and the only thing we could hear was the waves breaking on the shore.
There are bathrooms available, but no showers. There is a water hydrant near the boat dock, but I don't know if it is potable.
We arrived right at sunset, but a polite & professional police officer came by around 8:00 the next morning to register us. The park is very dog friendly, even the geese are okay with them as long as they mind their manners.

As others have said, the local police will come to your camp site and register you. Pleasant officer and we had a short chat. 10 day limit. No hookups at all 100% boondock, so be ready.
Solar rigs may have some shading from trees.
I ask about water, but was told it was not available.
Great stop and quiet quiet quiet.

We stayed here 11/29–12/02/2022 [GPS 33.088819, -95.014156]. Our spot by the lake was almost level and very easy in and out pull-through. This area offers dispersed camping; there are no designated sites, nor individual picnic tables or grills or fire pits.
All camping is east of the main road, across from Water Management District buildings. There is a swimming area and pavilion with four picnic tables at the southeastern end of the peninsula. This area with a loop drive better accommodates larger rigs. There is also a fishing pier on the east side of this area. In the middle on the east side of the peninsula are very clean restrooms, a boat launch, a boarding pier, and a fishing pier. Across the road to the west are two buildings that house Titus County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 administrative office and police. The northeastern area near the entrance is suited for smaller rigs. This area also has a fishing pier. Any camping location has a great view of the Lake. Daily we saw gulls, geese, ducks, and a great blue heron.
