This is our second review of this camping area, just about a year apart. Road in is still rutted and rough, but we managed with our low clearance Airstream several times now, so it is doable in almost all rigs. After wintering in Baja this year our definition of "rough" road has changed dramatically :) so this was pretty easy by that standard....

Easy access to the campground and the check in process was very well organized and smooth. Our spot (604) backed up to the fence and had enough adult trees to provide great shade during the hottest part of the day, but the trees were far enough away we could also use our awning. As soon as the pavement ends it's non-stop deep potholes, rain, ruts, and exposed rock and boulders. I've never seen this road this rough. I pulled my 19-ft travel trailer at less than 5 mph the whole way. Often at idle crawl speed.

This campground is outstanding. It was great for our overnight stay. We registered and paid on line. The campground looks brand new. It has plenty of gravel so you don’t battle the red dirt which is so prevalent in southern Utah. The electric and water services are in great and like new conditions. Every site has a sewer hookup. Early May visit for one night, not everything was ready nor grounds cut & trim. 7 miles off the highway made for a quiet nights sleep. Showers and toilets are okay, nothing to get excited about but good. The owner arrived to answer a question we had instead of calling or texting back (thumbs up). We’d stop again if we needed to.
