Seriously - $34.50 for $18 site, stupid FL utility fee, reservation fee, sales tax just keep increasing cost
Not using bathroom/showers as we’re here for 1 night. Site 20 took more than 1 backup to get 30ft fifth wheel situated-but doable
Pleasant Park fairly close to I95

Our site was perfectly level. A little tight probably for anything bigger than our 25 foot Travel Trailer. It was a very private site on the sides and rear, had neighbors across from us. But that was fine. The campground was actually very quiet.
The cell and over-the-air TV reception, was non existent. I used my hotspot.
There were several well kept hiking trails that were very nice! There is also a fruit stand just down the road from the campground and they also have firewood.
Nearby is a free ferry ride over to Fort Manataza. Book early! There is also a couple of trails by the ferry and the beach across the street. St. Augustine is also close to the park. Our favorite town in Florida.

We wanted to see St. Augustine but 5 months out, other campgrounds were either full or around $100/night. Faver Dykes was a little further away than ideal but the drive was pleasant and a great price. The dirt road through the park is quite long but was well graded. The road within the campground was rather narrow and required some skill to back our nearly 30ft trailer the 90° turn into the site. Trees across from the sites would make backing a trailer longer than ours difficult for most sites. The sites were flat (We only needed to level 1/2" on the port side), very nicely raked clean, included a picnic table, fire ring, and clothes line. The boat ramp area had a nice floating dock, a fish cleaning table with running water, and paved ramp. It was dark and quiet each night. We only saw staff from a distance but they were smiling and waved. :-) We saw several deer while driving in on the dirt road.

We stayed 2 nights just to go kayaking to Princess place and the intracoastal spoils. The ramp is GREAT with fresh water rinse.
Sites are OK, all sand except handicap sites. It rained 2nd afternoon and our crocs floated away. Very poor drainage.
Zero reception Tmobile in park but OK once you leave!

This park is a bit more rustic but it has a very natural feeling. Water and electric, pets allowed. Pretty basic otherwise. Easy drive to St Augustine and nearby beaches and rivers.

The cellular data speeds on the Verizon network were very good, reaching 50 mbps. On my day of arrival which happened to be on Sunday afternoon, the speeds fluctuated wildly, from 0.5 mbps, to 5 mbps, to 30+ mbps. I suspect there was a lot of congestion on the network/tower and since my plan on Visible is subject to deprioritization, my data was throttled. But for the following two days, speeds remained high. My 5G TMobile hotspot was practically unusable. Despite showing one bar, I was unable to even run a speed test.
Many sites are not completely level including my own (15), but it was tolerable.
There is lots of shopping at big box stores off the 95 in Palm Coast about 15 minutes away.

The gravel/sand (dusty) road was far back into the woods. The road around the campground itself is narrow and wooded on each side, except for where the ill angled sites were situated. Our site 20 was a pain to get our 5th wheel into, due to the light pole at the corner, heavy brush, and a large pine tree stump directly across from the site location. Upon leaving, nearby liveaboards clapped at my 3-point exit and said they have seen smaller rigs spend half a day getting in/out. Nearly every site is not well thought out on the angle, so it is more suited for smaller rigs or Class C/B perhaps.

Just a lovely spot, clean and pristine without a lot of traffic… We got the last campsite which wasn’t as secluded as many others, but still shaded, under the Hammock And raked out before we arrived :-) A quiet place To spend the night or longer…

“Way too expensive for us”

At $35USD a night this makes it an expensive option. We didn't stay however it looks ok. Each spot looks nice with water hook up but no electric. Ranger was lovely to speak too.
