“Nice, Clean Park”

Overall Rating

Arrived around 5pm to very nice hosts at check in booth. Clean, quiet park (Sunday), only 4 other campers. Nice park roads to walk. Lake is very pretty and has a swim area that had several families enjoying. Bathhouse is nice enough and clean. Push button water timed with appropriate temperature. Dump station is clean with easy access. Located kinda close to highway but we never heard traffic from site 22. Most sites have shade. Dispersed water hydrants to fill tanks are accessible from the park roads. Park is about half powered sites and half not.

Overall Rating

There are several Army Corps of Engineer campsites on Table Rock Lake. I was coming north on Arkansas 23, so this was a convenient one for me, but probably not the best. Not sure if it was due to the high water level, but the water at the beach was pretty muddy.

On the bright side... friendly staff, reasonably clean washroom, good cell service.

Note... Google maps turned me right on 86 and then declared, "You have arrived!". Not so. It's a left onto 86. After a few miles, you cross the lake and then the campground is on the left.
