Cherokee Casino Roland RV Park

We arrived after a long day on the road from Texas. The spot is located on the far side of the casino and provides FHU. We arrived late at night around 1am during the week. Only two other campers on-site. 5 Free fhu sites. The 30 amp didn't work on site 5. We didn't mind because we had water and sewer. Gravel/dirt parking lot. Great for an overnight stop. Quiet and security was patrolling all night. The casino inside was nice.

The sites are not spacious by any means. It is a parking lot but there are fhu. We have a 42' 5th wheel and were the first to arrive so we were able to get parked pretty easily. Don't even stop. I spoke to the front desk about a month ago and reconfirmed yesterday. Was told there are 9 sites, 1st come, no reservations, and are usually good during the week with weekends being full. Stopped in at 3pm....seems only 5 are 'full' hookups, so we slid in next to #5. We arrived expecting to camp in an overflow parking lot this was not the case. This place is completely free and there was electric water and sewer hook up.

Great for a stop and I would recommend it.

It was hot so we needed electric. An out of order sign would have been helpful. We moved once and ended up trying 3 boxes. We didn’t stay.

Seems like everywhere in the country is super hot right now so this was wonderful to be able to hook up to electricity without paying anything! Site # 5 electric wasn't working so I moved to 4. Full hook ups, totally free, what more could you want... all I needed was a little water so I took the spot on the end with no hook ups so I did not have to disconnect...all of the sites are back in and the hook ups are in the back, that could pose a problem for some people. How can you go wrong with full hookups for free. Didn’t use electricity as we are on solar but timing was perfect for us to dump and take on another 30 gallons of water. We will use this overnight stop again. Also signs indicated you can stay for two nights - not just one!
