Carnation Box & Storage RV Dump Station

This is a privately owned dump station that is located on NE 40th St., the road that enters the Tolt-MacDonald park. The property houses a laundromat and a storage unit facility. The dump station is well placed if you are departing from Tolt-MacDonald. You pull in from the west entrance on NE 40th St. to the west edge of the storage unit building and the dump station is properly located on the drivers side with an exit back to NE 40th St. and the corner of Tolt Ave. Hwy 203; so a super easy in and out if you are departing from Tolt-MacDonald. Satellite map photos clearly show the location of the dump station on the property and the west and east driveways to the property.

The station has all that you would need, non-potable water for tank and hose flush, and a properly placed dump hole with brass cap. When I was last there, the brass cap was broken from its hinge and was just placed over the pipe by previous users. The obligatory bricks and rocks are there also, to weigh down your hose while dumping.

Potable water is supposedly around the front of the building, I suspect closer to the laundromat, however we didn't need to refill, so we did not go looking.

The owners charge $9 to dump, as of this writing. Remittance envelopes are located in a doorway alcove right next to the left most storage unit garage door. You can pay with cash, check or by card. If paying by card you'll write your card information on the face of the pre-printed envelope. Envelopes with payment are then placed in a black locking mailbox that is located on a pole near the alcove you got the payment envelope from.

The dump fee is competitive with other paid dump options I've used in the past, and considering the reasonable cost of camping at Tolt-Macdonald, I didn't think twice about paying to dump here before leaving town.
