Burnell Lake Recreation Site

I will start by saying that a large group of people were partying, which is fine other than the 4:30am rave or whatever that was Sunday morning. Other than that the area was great, easy to find. Just note that it is a tricky drive in, rutted in some spots and big rocks in others. I would say have some amount of clearance. My Hyundai Kona made it through well enough.
There was a lot of nails on the site I stayed at. Bring a magnet. Looks like someone dumped a whole box of them everywhere. Good deal of broken class too. So be cautious.

We stayed two nights here and it was beautiful! We loved our view of the lake (although I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a swimming lake at all if that’s what you are looking for). Stalls for all different size units although the path in definitely was narrow and had some rough patches but we got our old 25’ motorhome there. A couple sites have a fire pit and picnic table, our stall we got good solar range. Free roaming cattle all throughout from I assume the landowners farm which in my opinion was cool! We had basically no cell service with the occasional 1 bar popping up. Would stay here again!
