"Beautiful Established Campground"

Missouri does these Fish and Wildlife areas the best of any state I've been to so far. Well manicured, plenty of shoreline to access the water, gravel parking spots, covered picnic tables. We were one of two here on a Monday in early May. They remind me a lot of Corps of Engineer campgrounds but with fewer amenities...and FREE! Perhaps the...

I agree with everyone else, Melanie was so kind and helpful and the grounds are beautiful. However…the road noise is horrific. At all hours of the night. "Quiet, Relaxing and well worth it!"

A very peaceful location bring a book, a fishing rod, your bike and hiking boots. Bring what you need for supplies as there are no stores close by. Extra fuel probably wouldn't hurt if you plan on heading out for an adventure. Definitely bring your camera and binoculars. I'll be back!

Many sewer connections don't have caps so you get some stink. The entire lower section is closed for some reason. Natalie in the office was very nice and the other residents were also...

"Just ok"

Positives: Good cell reception. On the edge of Tonopah so is very convenient. Clean. Negatives: Close to Highway 95. Camping is along side a dirt and gravel road (No off road camp sites). Some soft sand down the road. There’s a steep road after you come in to the right, but didn’t find a useable campsite. I drove down to and out...
