The campground is well laid out and easily accessible to the Green Bay Area. Perfect for what I needed. Most reservable sites I saw had the electric box and water hookups close by the usual corner.

We stayed here for four nights while visiting Door County. The very first thing we had an issue with was the location of the water spigot. Their website listed it as 8 feet from the concrete pad, but what they failed to mention is it was 8 feet away from the camping side of the pad, past the seating area and fire ring. Even with 50 feet of hose we couldn’t reach it. Be sure to bring your own water, just in case.
The bath house was poorly maintained also. It was cleaned once on our stay there, but we regularly dealt with unclean toilets and showers. Long term neglect was also evident through broken shower benches and one shower on the men’s side that didn’t even work, leaving only two showers available for a 100+ site campground.
There was also a bit of an issue with “squatters” on the vacant sites. Numerous times the host had to shoo people out who hadn’t paid. Our second day there, county deputies were even called out to remove some people.
It wasn’t completely bad. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Sites were a bit cramped, but we’ve stayed in worse. Many trees make it a pleasant, shaded spot to camp. Road noise from Hwy 57, but that doesn’t bother us, it may bother some others, so just be aware. Some rustic sites in the far back, but most are 20/30 with water (if you can reach it) and some are 20/30/50 with water. All of the odd sites are reservable online and all of the even sites are first come, first serve, which I imagine is nice for local folks. Playground is nice, there is a really neat “jump pillow” for the kids and kids at heart, and there is a beach on the bay of Green Bay. 10 minutes from GB, 25 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, 30-45 minutes to the “real” Door County (Sister Bay, Fish Creek, etc).
Maybe we just had dumb luck this time around, but despite having a great time in the surrounding area, our stay at this campground was not very enjoyable, and we do not intend to return.

This park is perfectly situated a short drive outside Green Bay and on the southern end of the Door Peninsula. It was easy to get anywhere in Green Bay we wanted to visit - even the Meijer on the other side of town is only about 25 minutes away. And heading up to Door County for day trips was also a breeze. Sites are large and spaced out nicely, so even though the park was full on weekends we never felt crowded. I had plenty of space to throw my hammock up between trees on our site. As usual, sites on the outside of the loop are most private. Sites are paved and appeared to be fairly level. Do pay attention to the site length when reserving since they vary considerably. The shower house closest to us was not huge (3 showers each for men and women) but it was never crowded even when the park was full. We don't love those push button controls but at least they offered a nice long duration.
Our favorite thing about the park is that it has a natural, outdoor vibe while keeping us well connected. We had many OATV channels including all the networks, along with blazing fast internet on AT&T (Down 80 / Up 20). We did have a little road noise at night from the highway up to Door County, but it was a small price to pay for the awesome internet from the tower that sits right along that highway. It would have been nice if the park had more than one small hiking trail, but we did appreciate having several options of paved roads, picnic areas, and a short trail to walk on. We also appreciated that the dump station (like WI state parks) includes a threaded rinse hose so we could use our automated black tank flush.

Could not adjust spray or temperature. Definitely would stay here again.

Rolled in on a Friday night and there were still some first come first served spots available. What a great little park in the edge of Green Bay. A short drive will get you downtown, a little longer drive will get you in Door County!
Only downside was the men’s bathrooms were horrible. Seems like they only clean them once a week?

We spent a week at Bay Shore in August 2020. The site was level and nicely spaced from near by sites. We took a drive up to the tip of the peninsula.

Must have cash or check for self pay station.

This is a nice campground on the shore of the Bay of Green Bay, great for a stopover on the way up to Door County, or a couple days of relaxation. 50/30/20-amp service available depending on the area of the park. There is a separate area for tent campers. Clean bathrooms and showers. Located next to a paved bike trail - it’s a short ride into nearby Dyckesville for breakfast at Sweet Seasons, lunch or dinner and bowling at the Dyckesville Bowl, ice cream at Frosty Tip, or drinks at Lipsky’s bar. You can get a nice dinner out at Rock Falls. Definitely a slice of small-town USA. The campground itself offers a bounce house (currently having a roof placed over it), a playground, boat launch, and trails down the cliff to a beach. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the entrance. The camp host is readily available for questions. The campground is heavily shaded. Sites with odd numbers are available for online reservations. Even-numbered sites are walk-up only. It’s a busy park on weekends, but very quiet during the week. There were even a few walk-up spots open over the 4th of July weekend. The dump station is very clean and easily accessible. Four stars only because there’s road noise on sites close to the highway. We like this park for its proximity to family and laid-back, quiet vibe and will return again.
