“Great spot for passing through or extended stay ”

Arrived after office had closed, around 7pm. Very nice and helpful park host was outside walking his cat on a leash when we pulled up. He greeted us warmly and made sure we understood how the dry erase board showing availability worked - including to make sure we came back to the board to wipe off the # of our site after we claimed it... more

“Nice little park”

Reviewed Mar 02, 2018

Overall Rating

Needed a place to stay overnight. Nice little park with mostly RV friendly sites (long easy back in or pull throughs). We especially enjoyed the wifi and the fenced dog park. Close to I5, but we did not notice any noise.

$33 for 50 amps, water & sewer in a gorgeous big green park with spacious sites, a huge horseshoe- shaped pull- through site...and only 12 minutes from downtown Eugene! A quick easy stop off the I-5. $30 for 30 amps. They also have laundry and hot showers. This is a bargain compared to the other parks around that boast good reviews. (O... more

Armitage Park is a very nice county park well designed for a qualitative camping experience. Each site features level asphalt pads well spaced between your neighbor. You will have choices of a back in site or pull through, open space location or under tree canopies. Features include full hook ups and cable tv. There is also free Wi-Fi,... more

Level asphalt pads between nice grass space. Shade trees but we still had satellite. FHUs with 50 amp and good water pressure. Grounds are well maintained although the noisy lawn equipment is annoying. I suppose one can't have it clean and completely quiet :-) The park has direct access to the McKenzie River along a beautiful day pa... more

“Very Nice Park”

Reviewed Apr 07, 2017

Overall Rating

The nightly rate was a little higher then we usually like to pay but it was a very nice park. They had a number of sites closed due to debris (i.e. tree limbs) falling into them during a recent heavy storm. The tree limbs had been picked up but they weren't re-opening the sites until a site inspection had been done to make sure the... more

This was our first stop as new full timers and I can't imagine a better first experience. Clean park, lots of places to walk our dog, plenty of space in between spots, and friendly people. We stayed two nights on a weekend, but despite a few campfires and a little loud laughter this place was quieter than the subdivision we used to ... more

“Great spot, lots of green space”

This is a wonderful place to stay, right on the McKenzie River, with walking trails and tons of green space. The sites are full hook-up, and there's also a bathroom and laundry facility. Very nice county park but when I was there in the fall, there was very little of that lovely looking green grass. As most, I was here getting service and it is very convenient for that. Q loved the large dog park and splashing in the river water. Didn't really need full hookups so I hate when I have to pay the price.
