We arrived on a Friday to attend a Saturday wedding in the area. Our campsite (#5) has a wonderful view of the marina, , reservoir, and the mountains to the West. Sites are spacious and include a covered picnic table and a fire pit. 20, 30, and 50 amp power are included, but no water or sewer at the campsites. There is water available at hydrants along the access loop (One was right across from us.) There is a dump station at the entrance to the loop. Our site was not quite level, but our leveling jacks had no trouble getting us straightened out. We did not have to resort to leveling blocks under the tires.
There are many, many lengthy hiking trails in the area, some paved with concrete, some with gravel, and many more are dirt. One could easily spend a week exploring them all. We enjoyed? several significant rain squalls while we were here, but the ground seems to perk well, and no standing water remained after a few hours.
In summary, we really enjoyed it here and would be pleased to return and spend a few more days.

Great view of the lake (reservoir) marina. Bath house on the campground loop. Cover over picnic table to shield from sun and wind. Electric on site and potable water available near ump station. Great for over night. Daily use fee or annual state park pass required.

Patti was absolutely correct! Arkansas Point Campground, Site #5 has the best view in the campground. Electric only, water and dump at the entrance, big rig friendly. Our 35’ bumper pull had no problem.

Pueblo must have done some work on the trail system, they have been enlarged and with new signs all over. Very easy to navigate if you are a hicker or mountain biker.
I just love this place!

This was the only state park where we had to pay a park entrance fee ($10) in addition to the camping fee; total cost was $46 for a site with only electric; very expensive in my book. When we entered the park, no map or directions were given; we had to find the site on our own.
