“Overnight parking is allowed. ”

We biked the Bird to Gird path up to this area. It’s open for camping. I think the previous reviewer misread the signage.

During the summer months, the resort has dry RV camping in their day use parking lot located to the right as you come into town. There are envelopes and a drop box at the parking lot entrance and someone comes to check every night. We paid for all 3 nights up front and found that information wasn’t communicated as we woke up to a note asking us to pay on our 2nd night. I would pay on a nightly basis if we are that way again. At the beginning of August, the number of RV’s ranged from 5 to about 20 per night and were mostly parked in the paved area. We parked in the gravel section as it seemed to be a little more level. There was a fair amount of local traffic during the day but it was quiet at night. There are streetlights in the lot that are on all night.
The views were spectacular - hanging glaciers and views of the ski hill all around. The location was great - minutes to the resort trail , Bird to Gird Trail, walking distance to a craft brewery and short drives to the Crow Pass trailhead and over to Portage.
There is a dump station at the nearby Tesoro.

Couldn’t justify the cost so didn’t stay. $10 would have been fine but 20 for a not flat parking lot offends my sensibilities.

We camped before mountain biking season had started, so there were only 3 or 4 other RVs at any one time.
Get out an hike here, there are several trails, all beautiful, check out our blog posts for more.

No issues leveling our 43 foot 5th wheel and didn't need any blocks. Can get very busy during the day especially on weekends with the mountain bikers but it gets very quiet at night after 6pm. Slept great for 5 nights.
They work on the cash or check in envelope drop box up to 5 nights stay.
Trash bins around area.
5 Minutes up the street at Tesco gas station there is water and dump station $.
In town between the fire department building and park on the back of a building we did see a hose with sign saying potable water.

It’s just a parking lot for the ski resort to use in the off season. We have parked here two nights and it’s been really quiet. The lot is sloped so bring plenty to level with There are lots of trails up the hill to walk on nice days Also there is cell service and tv channels.
