This is not too far off the beaten path and may be accessed from hwy 101 with a fair amount of ease. The sites are mostly pull-through. It was quiet at night.
Thats it. That's all the positive....
The problems:
-There are NO SHOWERS
-unpleasant host with short answers & did not inform campers of wildfires that had erupted over night nearby! We were sitting ducks...
-do not be fooled....WIFI does not work for long and continually kicks you off (like once a minute)
-We filled an extra 5gal water container upon leaving and it was brown with obvious, chuncky particulate matter (that is why we carry a Berkey filter system)
-our Amazon Prime packages were posted as delivered, but were not (this may not be the fault of the RV park, but rather the local delivery service which has poor reviews )

“Decent park close to Healdsburg”

Reviewed Jun 21, 2017

Overall Rating

We love the little town of Healdsburg and this RV park is the closest one to it. It's Passport America during the week, so our rate was $25 a night plus the pet fee. Water/electric only, but no sewer. The section we stayed had nice, long, level pull-thru sites. Neighboring sites were pretty close to us, but the park wasn't full. The Russian River runs right behind the park, and the park also serves as a day-use area for people wanting to access the river. The other section had more shade/trees, but the sites were pretty unlevel. I did not go into the bathrooms so I'm not sure what they were like, but the building looked pretty new. The park was nice and quiet and the management was nice. Easy access to the Russian River and Alexander Valley wineries. We would stay here again because we really love Healdsburg and this area of wine country, but I'd probably only do it with the Passport America rate.
