One of, the best, if not the best Thousand Trails Park’s where we have stayed. An out of the way location, but nice spots on a huge lake. We stayed in the B section since we have 30 amp service, but the park allows first come-first serve. We had a lot of shade in B, though the C section has some nice spots, very clean and level, so we may stay in that section in the future. A bit of a run to get to bigger cities, though Arley has the basic mom and pop grocery, Dollar General, and gas.

Luckily our AT&T hotspot was able to handle most of what we needed but verizon and sprint were useless. We have a pepwave for sprint and even that didn't help. The park was great and the cove was cool to swim in. Arley is a dry county and there is not much to do. There is a small grocery store about 15 minutes away but you'll have to go further, about 35 minutes to get to a bigger town or for hiking. We went to Jasper twice for food and supplies from the Walmart and stopped at the chick fil a too.
I highly recommend this park! Just know you will be driving a lot to get anywhere. If you are just going to enjoy the cove for the weekend this place is perfect!
Oh I also hit a tree while in the park and our RV has a dent. Thats 100% my bad but I am still upset about it. You can see more about Hidden Cove on our YouTube Channel: youtube.com/bonniebrenden

Sites were huge and clean with rose bushes between!
There are so many great hikes, don’t miss out on the Creekside Civil War Museum the owner is a hoot!
Great burgers and shakes at the food shack, we plan to come back:)
Cell service for Verizon was though, their paid internet works ok.

Absolutely incredible stay. The staff takes such pride in the campground and it shows. The manager and her husband really treat the campground as their baby and are constantly making sure your stay is going well. Down to pruning the rose bushes between the sites nothing is overlooked. The bath house was incredibly clean, I’ve seen people’s bathrooms in their homes messier than these. I work remote full time, the section we were in (the newer section) had spotty but useable reception. I did purchase wifi and found it to be more than adequate for working remotely. The sites themselves were absolutely massive compared to other campgrounds we’ve been to. We nearly could park our class c sideways in the spot. Plenty of room to back in the rv, put the tow dolly on the other side, and park the car. And still had plenty of room for the fire pit and picnic table.

The shower house closest to us didn't have hot water, and the faucet for our site leaks permanently. They didn't seem to mind.
There is almost no reception for Verizon, certainly not enough to do anything. If you pay for WiFi, it is the most undependable reception ever. You will either get five seconds or five minutes, then it will boot you off for who knows how long.

The boys loved it, the club house was fun. The free WiFi at the clubhouse was out due to recent lightning strike. We’ll be back if time allows.

We opted to stick around the C Loop as it was the newest addition here. We found a spot close to the bathhouse for showering (the shower in our rv feels weak and doesn’t feel very safe for adults). The att cell signal was 3-4 bars the entire time at our spot and data speeds were high enough to stream Netflix nonstop as well as play online games on Xbox and PS4. I did order a cell booster to hopefully gain a bit better service, but I’m not worried if it doesn’t work out. Laundry facilities are clean and easily accessible with quarters. Showers are large and very clean. The only negatives I experienced was that on Tuesday the dumpsters are overflowing with trash as pickup happens on Wednesday and the nearest store that sells alcohol is 45 minutes away. We liked it enough that we booked another 2 week reservation after we spend out 7 day period out of Thousand Trails.

The A loop is lower down a hill but is more shaded; the C loop is on higher ground but most of the sites are in a big open flat area. There is NO cell coverage (Verizon) on A loop but we did get coverage (Verizon, 3 bars 4G) when we walked up to C loop. Very pretty lake setting. We only did an overnight so didn't check out any of the amenities. The roads leading to the park are windy, narrow, and a bit rough.
