Overall Rating
the site was actually closed for the season but the creek was so alluring i started to make camp when i realized there was no cellular service on AT&T, Verizon or Boost. Also after the fact i realized i would have had no sun to power my panels. Right next to a fairly busy road, did not stay

This spot was great for my week long setup. I need access to good cell service for work during the week and while AT&T had decent service (3 bars or less), Verizon had none at all. The hosts were very nice and happy to answer any questions we had. They even let us know that we could fill up our water tanks at their sister campgrounds a... more
This spot was great for my week long setup. I need access to good cell service for work during the week and while AT&T had decent service (3 bars or less), Verizon had none at all. The hosts were very nice and happy to answer any questions we had. They even let us know that we could fill up our water tanks at their sister campgrounds at Columbine Canyon just up the road at no additional cost. It is next to the highway so expect a little road noise but nothing very disturbing.

Great location right on the river, however also on the highway. However the road noise did not bother us in the rv and the sound of the rushing river is so loud it takes away the road noise. It was just a magical stay. A relaxing & cool stay for a late June day. No potable water but does have a pit toilet. Very small sites. Also there ... more

Also there seemed to be alot of foot traffic during the day but not at night. Just a few other tent campers.
