Amazing park in the middle of what seemed like no civilization for hundreds of miles. Full hookups, level sites, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and amazing water. They even escorted us to our spot.
They gave us tokens for free ice cream in their shop, which was amazing on a day of 106° temperatures.
They had a small selection of board games and DVDs to borrow and plenty of outdoor games which looked they they would have been fun on non-106° days.
Would definitely stay here again.

We planned our trip well in advance and found this as a good spot to stay between Yellowstone and Mt Rushmore. We figured it would be a comfortable spot to just stop and relax for 2 nights. Instead, it ended to being one of the highlights.
We have 4 kids under 12 and 2 dogs. Our kids loved the hiking trails, the bike rides, sunsets, spacious campground, and the family that runs the park.
We were warmly greeted by the office and escorted to our site where they made sure I was parked just right. Then they were always available, but not annoying.
My kids made friends with the youngest boy of the family, who showed them all the fun places to explore.
We went to Little Bighorn, which is a must for many reasons.
The sunsets were beautiful and the park was clean. The bathrooms were so well maintained. I would recommend this park to everyone. It is well worth the stop for at least 2 nights. The sites are large and well spaced with lots of room to run, play or just relax.

Nice big site with irrigated grass, picnic table and grill. Very much nicer than many western RV parks that are just parking lots. This is a campground, even if it is for big rigs. Nicest bathhouse I’ve seen. Laundry too. And trees! Also free internet.

We stopped here mostly to wash the truck and trailer of mud and debri from storms in South Dakota. Having the Little Bighorn National Memorial nearby was a bonus. Be aware that the road in is dirt, rutted and washboardey in places. We went slow, all was well. Check in was easy, staff was pleasant. They have some food and gift items for sale and the ice cream was very good. All sites are gravel with some grass at each site. Relatively level. Quiet enough, freeway and train tracks are far enough away to be mostly background noise. Nice playground, although we have no children with us, laundry room is small but good enough. Bathrooms clean, showers free. Wifi is passable but like in most other places we’ve been it would cut out from time to time, but cell signal was good so our hotspot worked quite well.
Be aware their website says to expect a 72 hour response on phone or online reservations, but they responded to our request within 12 hours. If you are close by calling for a space might be the better option.

When I asked to be in sight A1 they said I could not have it because somebody was coming in the next day. The best views are from the East end of each row. You can look out of your campsite to see big prairie, rolling hills, Montana Big Sky and gorgeous sunsets. I will attach a map so when you call to reserve, you can request one of these sites.

Stayed for 2 nights in late July while visiting Little Bighorn. This Park was a pleasant surprise with a smooth check-in process (and, yes, a coupon for an ice cream is part of that process), an Escapees discount, and best of all, a well groomed, long pull through site with a mature tree which shaded the afternoon sun. On top of that, the sites are somewhat terraced, providing a larger-than-normal site for an RV Park and offering a degree of privacy as well.
Very nice facilities here. Bath house was clean, modern and roomy. The park sits atop a hill overlooking the valley and I-90. It is high enough that there was little to no noise from the Interstate. Very quiet and peaceful overall. In addition, they allowed guests to wash their rigs, which is something most RV Parks would frown upon.
Not a whole lot in this area other than the Little Bighorn Battlefield which we really enjoyed and highly reccommend.
Would stay here again as a wayside through eastern Montana

Great location for visiting Little Bighorn, which will bring us back. This trip it was as an overnight stop traveling from the Black Hills to Yellowstone.
The site we had required some leveling, but we didn’t have to unhook. All hookups worked perfectly.
The laundry was nice, clean and well lit.
Ice cream at check in is a nice bonus.
Our rate was with the Escapees discount.
