Stayed here on the way from Lethbridge to Revelstoke. From the previous reviews we knew that the front desk wanted our vehicle plate number and name and were prepared. The lady at the desk was very pleasant and invited us to stay as long as we wanted. We did walk through the Casino and were not impressed. It's a sad place. Very small and mostly slots with one roulette and one blackjack table. The restaurants consist of a bar and a buffet which we skipped.
Arrive early as we did, because after 5 the parking lot fills up with overnighters including semis and RVers. Make sure you park so you don't get blocked in. Some people just don't have common sense.

This is a great spot to stay on the Eastern border of Banff park. They even have a dump station on site.
The views are great, the staff is chill, and the amenities inside the casino are great.

Great campground for a short stay. Just register at the reception and you’re good to stay for the night. Tidy and big parking lot with a nice view.

If you're heading into Banff from Calgary and need a place to stay, this is it. There were a ton of other overnight parkers here. Just head into the lobby (at the roundabout) and tell the receptionist that you wish to park overnight. She had me fill out a small form with my license plate and I was on my way. They have free wifi in the casino (which is nothing special) and lounge area plus huge bathrooms.
If you're into gambling, please try to play a few slots or something as I'm sure they appreciate the business. From what I could tell, there are a ton of overnighters and not many playing the casino games. I just hope that they don't stop letting people park there overnight because it was right off the highway and very convenient to stay.
There is a gas station with a convenience store open late just down the street.
Pro-tip: park in the back of the lot on the southwest/west side close to the casino to get some extra sleep as the building blocks the sun for a little bit, especially in summertime.

Free, quiet parking lot. Vey nice staff in the casino. We gave them our license plate number but they really didn't seem to care. Would not recommend the food on Sunday buffet.

This casino was pretty quiet on the night we stayed. We went in and spoke to the front desk attendant and we wrote down our license plate and number. The staff were very friendly! Restrooms inside the casino were clean. We felt safe and would stay here again. It's a good stopover before going to banff.
