Shady Grove Mobile Home & RV Park

While this park was convenient for our stay it is far from being a place I would like to return to. Access to the park is somewh at confusing as there are entrances and exits along a very busy street. When we arrived the person that was representing the park insisted on giving parking space maneuvering directions contradicting what my spouse was giving. Perhaps her experience was good but I do feel that she should have discussed the locating directions with my other half who was on the other end of our walkie-talkie. The space assigned was narrow (pull thru) and (due to location) was noisy. There is a dog area in front of the park that has the dumpster and pet refuse bags next to it. It is large yet full of stickers. Trash from the street and pedestrians do litter the front since there is no fence or separation between the property and sidewalk. It was undetermined if wi-fi and/or cable was available as the junction box was damaged. There are many long term residence spaces with no housekeeping re-enforcement. Many residents apparently do not follow common rv park courtesy practice by walking through and close to other spaces. This was most disturbing. I am aware that this is an older park and the roads are quite narrow and maneuvering is nerving. I believe that a length limit should be adhered to for the ease of residents and other occupants. Although the space we occupied was quite sufficient for our tow vehicle and 5th wheel in concrete length there was insufficient side room to afford some privacy and lounge area setup. The full hook services were sufficient with no disruption or special considerations (i.e. water pressure regulator). We would not stay here again.
