We stayed here for for 5 nights while exploring Big Bend. This was a great location with fast, easy access to the BBNP. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sites were well spaced, clean and the common areas were really nice. Very quiet at night. We played lots of tether ball, jenga, corn hole and horseshoes. We were even treated to live music one night. The dog park was cute but we didn’t bring our dogs since they aren’t allowed in the NP.
We ate at Rustic Iron BBQ in Terlingua one night and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere for families with entertaining live music and delicious BBQ.
Big bend river tours was a great source for us to rent extra life jackets for paddle boarding the Santa Elena Canyon. They sell lots of outdoor gear and supplies at very reasonable prices. Definitely bring your own inflatable SUPs or kayaks and send a few hours paddling up the canyon from the Santa Elena trailhead. Such a fun activity and super inexpensive if you have your own gear.
Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and are already planning a trip back.

My family and I stayed here for a week while we explored BBNP and BB Ranch State Park. This park has well spaced sites with picnic table and fire pit. We played many games of corn hole available in the common area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Spacious sites with friendly camp hosts. 10 minutes to Big Bend park entrance. Used Starlink for internet no problem. Local coffee shop right across the street. Make sure to get in-line early for the Starlight Theatre for wonderful food! Long Draw pizza was also great!

There are plenty of 'garden' spaces to relax and reflect in. A fun community recreation area with games and fire pits right next to a decent sized fenced in dog park.

As commercial campgrounds go, this was a nice stay. Full hookups, long pull through sites. I little close for my tastes, but it was fine. I'd return for the convenience and the location.
We did enjoy the common area one evening and played some Cornhole. Also have tether ball and horse shoes.

We are travelers in a class B motorhome and we do a lot of dry camping. When we pay for a commercial RV park we want a shower! RoadRunner should either lower its rate or add hot showers if they want to get repeat business from through campers like us...

Appreciate being able to reserve, check in & pay online. For me it is nice to drive in & set up without having to go in an office to get instructions as I’ve been doing this a long time & don’t need much information. I’ve noticed hotels are also offering the same no contact checking.

We've been coming to this park since it first opened for a total of five trips so far, and is the only park we will stay at in the Big Bend area. Chris and Allison, the owners, have made us feel right at home, and will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your stay. The sites are level and have great water, wifi, nice picnic tables, and cool fire pits. They regularly have live music around a campfire with some of the great local artist. There is also a fenced dog park and a play area. The views of the sunsets are great and park is dark enough to sit outside and stargaze. You simply cannot go wrong staying in this park!

Campground looks nice but we were passing through and needed to dump our tanks. They would not allow us to. Their name shows up on line as a place allowing dumps but this is not the case. Seems like all the campgrounds in this area do not want non customers to use their dump sites even when you offer to pay them.
