Roomy primitive campsite (no water, no electricity). We had plenty of room to set up our SylvanSport GO trailer and attached tent. We weren't impressed with the "Leave No Trace" policy of people at the camp before us, as there was some trash (apparently toilet paper} in the bushes nearby, and a few aluminum cans left behind. We had a fair amount of bear scat in the area, but only saw a single gray fox our first evening there. You do need to read the note about getting to the campsite, as google maps shows a number of roads/bridges crossing waterways when there are no roads/bridges.
Snake would stay here again

From highway 98 roughly midway between Carrabelle and Eastpoint, turn north at the well-marked parking area at John Allen Road. Continue to Dry Bridge Road, following the signs to the left for the cypress boardwalk. (A secondary less used road, Pidcock Road, goes directly to the campsite but Dry Bridge is a better bet.) Continue west on Dry Bridge Road to the sign for Pidcock Campsite on the left. Follow the road to the post for the campsite. The maps give the impression there is a bridge to the west and road to the south of the campsite. This is not the case – the campground is essentially at a dead-end. Please review the overall map for campsites at Tate's Hell State Forest.
