Lovely place. We came in off season before they were open. Four sites with plug-ins. Quiet on a cute pond. The town was amazing and easily walked. Big mansions. Hospital and clinic, nice shops. Beautiful County Building.

Lions Park in the city of Armour now asks $15 per night with electricity. Stayed here 7/1–5/2022. From US-281, enter on 7th Street and turn right on Miltmore Street. Cross iron-rail bridge mid-Park into first come RV area for 6 back-in (mostly level) and 4 big RV pull-thru (all somewhat sloped back to front) sites. Water available at corner of Miltmore/6th St, at Dump station mid-Park along Miltmore, between first two back-in sites, and across road behind first two pull-thru sites. Each pair of sites share 20A/30A/50/A electrical pedestals. Dump station is along Miltmore Street at the shower building. No OTA TV. Park has two rental cabins, two pavilions, picnic tables, playground, volleyball court, basketball half-court, and Lake Alcazar, a horseshoe-shaped lake with walking paths around perimeter and across middle. Armour has interesting main street with historic buildings and residences. Good price on fuel and comparably better grocery prices for this region (on US-281). No laundromat. Movie theater and thrift store on Main Street.
