Very Nice Clean Facility, About A 10 Minute Walk To The Beach, Friendly And Very Helpful Staff, All Utilities Connections On The Riverside Rear Of The Site, Easy To Connect To Everything. It Was A Safe Clean Area But The Fence And Gates Made Us Feel Even Safer. We were there during spring break so the price may have been higher than normal. The bathrooms were closed for renovations but it didn’t bother us much.

I have several work zoom calls per day and my upload speed was great. Walkable to Winn Dixie and CVS. A few fun hangouts for cocktails by the water. Great paved walkways to get in long walks.

After 40 days of traveling out west, we arrived back in Florida for some beach time. What a nice beach it was too. Should have booked more than 2 nights (mid September).
The quaint campground was very clean and the hostess was delightful. The beach was a 5 minute walk on sidewalk, across a road, then through the parking lot of a scrumptious restaurant to a private gate and walkway to the beach.
Plenty of room for our 30 ft class C and our Toad.

Urban location in resort town with beach access
We stayed here and enjoyed the upscale landscaping and site set up. The sites are tight, but you are also screened by shrubs and trees. The location near the white sand beach makes the set up a minor trade off. The hosts were great and helpful with our questions about Wi-Fi, laundry etc. My only regret is that the temps were in the upper 40’s and it was windy, but the campground had nothing to do with that! Wi fi was marginal. Cell service was 3 bars with Verizon

Nice that you could pay with a credit card thru an app. Pool saw lots of action from small kids. We’re in a 25’ class C with a ten foot cargo trailer and backed in just fine, but we did have to unload the motorcycles from the trailer before parking because the site couldn’t accommodate the ramp door being down. Big Class As struggled a bit with the tight turns. Grounds were immaculately maintained and very nice. Wifi worked very well.

This is a very well-maintained park very near the beach - a short walk across Old 98. It's directly behind an Alvin's Island sort of tucked away giving the impression of being more secluded than it actually is. The only minor issue is that depending on RV length you may need to work with other RVer's in advance to exit your site - all sites are the back in type. The Surf Hut restaurant is just across the street on the beach and a couple of others are in walking distance as is the large outlet mall. Beach chairs and umbrella can be rented for $45 per day. Best to call Mary Lou directly for a reservation - very accommodating.

Nice staff, nice park, but long was to beach. We stayed in #12. Very tight spots. The staff was very nice. Location was just not for us. Beach access was a long walk and very crowded.

We spent 5 days at Destin RV Beach Resort in March of 2020. The facility and grounds are impeccable with cable TV, good WiFi in addition to the normal services. What feels like never ending construction on Highway 98 in Destin makes navigating to the resort a bit of a harrowing endeavor, but once there it is well worth it. Access to the private beach is actually a short walk across Scenic Gulf Drive but the beach area is not as busy as some of your traditional resort beaches. The Surf Hut is across the street for beachside dining and cocktails, Winn Dixie a short drive (or a bit of a longer walk but doable) and lots of other shopping and dining available as well. Definitely look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale RV destination in the Destin area.

This small park is ideally located and has private access to the beach just a short walk away. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance, and shopping is just a short drive away. Access is a small challenge due to construction on Hwy 98. Most impressive to us were the staff. We had first scheduled 6 days at the park, but had a mechanical issue about 2 miles down the road after having checked out. They quickly, and generously arranged an additional night for us on short notice, and offered several more nights if needed to make repairs. We were grateful for the accommodation during a very busy time of the year.
