Beautiful campground. Very clean rest rooms. No WiFi. Very spacious site. Must turn on all breakers for electric to work- that’s a first! Loved our site 83. Very clean. Friendly staff.

Clean. Quiet. Our site was level with easy access to Jordan Lake. Our site had 50A service, many only 30A. Water pressure good. Park was far from full and site spacing was very good. Verizon reception was strong enough to allow streaming on Roku. Bath house was clean.

Check in was easy and the gate did not close at night.
Signal was good with our AT&T hotspot. We used it for work during the week. Starlink would be a no here, it's heavily forested with all sites being mostly full shade. Great for hot days, but not for satellite signal.
Close to the Raleigh area if you are there to visit.
My only complaint is the bathrooms. The ladies room was absolutely disgusting. It looked never cleaned and barely used. I refused to use the showers because there was the biggest spider I had ever seen in there, I think it might have been a wolf spider. So that was a big no! When we went into town, I showered at planet fitness.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site B24, an E only, BI site for $27/night including all the fees, taxes and a senior discount. The roads and sites are asphalt. It was pretty easy backing in with the only unusual thing was backing uphill off the road then downhill into the site. It was pretty level and I only used one board to get level. NOTE: all the breakers had to be flipped on to get the electricity to turn on, not just the one you were plugging into. I didn’t check the bathhouse as it was a little bit of a walk from where I was. The site was very spacious with a good sized picnic area. There was lots of shade which will be good in the warmer months. The picnic table was a little sketchy though. The site felt very private. I had 2 bars 5G with Verizon, no wifi, and several OTA channels. This campground has several sites that are good for larger rigs. Most are at a good angle off the road to make getting into them easy and were plenty long. My favorite sites in the B Loop were: 36, 39, and 50. Other good sites include: 12, 16, 20, 22, 26, 50, 62, and 64. On C Loop: 19, 21, 23, and 32. I have stayed at three different campgrounds around Jordan Lake and this may be my favorite. I will definitely be back here in the future.

We have stayed here many times. Clean, quiet, spacious sites, secluded. No WiFi but 2 bars 5g Verizon cellular. Packed on the weekends, empty thru the week. Convenient to Raleigh, gas, groceries, shopping, golf, boating, fishing!

In my opinion, the section we were in (C) had too many duplex sites as opposed to single sites, and many empty ones had the water view that I would have liked, but won't pay double for.

I want to preface this review that we are camping in the first week of February. The campground had a few people then by Monday afternoon we were kinda alone....like boondocking but with electricity! The only downside is that because it is winter the water is shut off. We are close to the restroom, so we can get water and take warm showers. The cell service is good and the trees are beautiful. I am sure it can be a zoo during the summer but it is great right now!!!

Stayed there 8 and 9 Dec 2021. Site was level and an easy walk to the bathhouse. Because it was winter, the water was turned off, but I had sufficient aboard my truck camper. Will try to return when the weather is warmer.
