Mike responded immediately to our request. Friendly and very helpful. Driveway tree limbs cleared to 30 ft. Driveway was wide and smooth. Campsites are graveled and level. All had water. A few had water and sewer. One had full hookups. We boondockers and ran our generator. It was not an issue. Good spacing between sites. Looks like Mik... more

A few had water and sewer. One had full hookups. We boondockers and ran our generator. It was not an issue. Good spacing between sites. Looks like Mike makes an effort to keep campers spaced as far apart as he can for their privacy. Our nearest neighbor was 400 feet away. We stayed 3 nights. Added a night because it was so nice and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean grounds to boondock. We didn’t have power or water but the cleanest outhouse in North Carolina did down the path. They have an outdoor shower we didn’t get a chance to use. Super friendly host.

Overall Rating
Stayed overnight while traveling back home with my girls. Beautiful grounds were clean, bathroom was clean and we enjoyed our short time there.
Close to I-95 (less than 15mins)
Communication was quick and thorough via Facebook Messenger.

Nice private campground. Owner was super friendly. Sites were fairly level and grassy. Sites 2 and 3 had water sewer hookups. A small bathroom across from site 7. We had verizon cell and were able to stream our fire stick. There is a small trail to walk through the woods.

“Poor management and business practices!”

We contacted Michael and inquired about monthly rates for a full hookup site. Initially we were told another couple had been interested but had not given a firm response. The next day, the one and only full hookup site was given to us for a monthly rate of $400 that would begin 8-22 through the end of November. Several hours later, Michael replied with he could offer the sight beginning 9-6 but had already booked the site for our initial dates. Ok, fine. Venmo payment was given for the first month and was agreed to start 9-5 through the end of November. LESS THAN 12 hours later, we received messages that one month was all that could be done because he had decided to take on a camp host! The only positive thing I can say about any dealing with the management of this establishment is that we actually got a refund for the monies paid.
