“Lovely Isolated Mountain Summit ”

Overall Rating

This is a beautiful place to camp- you’re at the summit of a small mountain with 360 views through the trees. There are large glacial erratics strewn around the campsite, looming in a strange and peaceful presence. Aside from the coyotes we heard at night there was absolutely no one around. There’s a steep spot in the road heading in and the gravel is a little loose but otherwise the road is well maintained. Highly recommend this site if you like solitude in the woods!
