My favorite thing was how quiet and peaceful it was. It had the feeling of a state park but with more conveniences. They had a small camp store, pool, outdoor kitchen, very nice dog area, a hiking trail, laundry and showers. The showers and bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen!
This was the quietest campground ever. Heard no road noise and even though we were next to the pool, we never heard the kids. Everyone was very respectful of each other.
We received a military discount. We would love to stop here again!

Be careful that the site they try to assign you has adequate room to exit. Originally site #26 was not doable for our departure due to a tree and a 90 degree right turn. Owners very accommodating and let us move over one site to solve the problem, very nice people!

We left Tampa for Mobile later than expected and needed to find an overnight stop in-between. Our connectivity is great from the truck so we looked online and found this park in Chattahoochee. We checked availability and tried to reserve a spot, but couldn't make it through all of the online form's steps.. So, we called for the reservation.
The park is just a mile or so off of I-10 so the location was perfect. We felt good about the stay by simply pulling in. We were checked in at the office by a friendly host, then he led us to our spot.
The park had a well stocked camp store, propane fill station, and everything was clean. The main office building and store, cabins, campsites, community fire pits, playground for kids, and exercise and stretching equipment for adults were in good repair.
Our site was level so we didn't need to disconnect for the quick, overnight stay.
The park is a short drive west of Tallahassee so the next time we find ourselves in the area for business or pleasure, we'll stay here rather than at a park closer to the city.
We work from the road and connect using a Cudy router with ATT service and a GTEN router for Verizon. As you can see in one of the pics, a cell tower was very close so we had good, strong signals across both providers.

They were booked due to the lineman staged for electric restoring in central Florida. Nice and quite. One couple had a mix up in their reservation but management went a changed a 30 to a 50 amp so they could stay. Outstanding customer service. Nice and clean pool. Good little store for snacks ect. Propane was available. Staff was nice. A very large dog park.

We called the office about 5:55 PM while driving through to see if they had a spot open. Carole was very accommodating as she answered the phone although they were closing at 6 pm.
We made the reservation over the phone while traveling, she emailed the information to us, when we got to the campground the envelope with our name on it was readily available. The campground is pretty dark as it’s in the middle of “nowhere“. We had to use flashlights because it was 8:30 PM by the time we got parked. Be prepared if you come in after dark.
We had our propane filled. Restrooms are spotless and we were told they were newly remodeled. We did not use the laundry.
The price reflected above includes a good Sam discount so don’t forget to ask if you have it. We got about 25 over the air channels with excellent reception. Cell service was fine. As was stated by someone else, there’s nothing much around so come prepared with all your supplies.
The worst part was the width of the site as our sewer dump was literally next to our neighbor’s chairs. From the edge of their deployed awning to our trailer was 10 feet. But, the pull thru site was 60 feet long.

Handy little place off of Interstate 10. It’s clean and the people running it are helpful. Nice laundry machines. Unfortunately no wifi and almost no Verizon cell service
The sites are a little dated and many permanent and semi permanent guests, although their sites were mostly tidy.

Called at the last minute to see if they had any spots available and if they accepted late check ins. Easy spot to navigate in the dark and very friendly people. I am passing back through in a month and I am going to be hitting this CG. Dogs allowed and a dog park.
