“Pretty but failed at leveling”

5 sites there. We stayed in early Feb. Struggled to get level on 3 of the 5 sites then gave up after 5 blocks high wasnt enough. Parked overnight by the boat ramp.
Since it was in the winter, the trees were not blocking as much of the periodic road noise.
Each campsite had a fire ring and a table which was nice. We originally came in hopes to out our kayaks in but the water was high and fast so no go.
Dry camping, so come prepared. There are dumpsters in the area but seems like people dont see them or ignore them. We picked up a lot of trash while we were there.

“Terrific quiet spot with river access”

What a great place to camp of you have a smaller setup. Class A only near the boat ramp area if allowed for overnight stay, didn't see any signs. Camp loop has 6 sites that some would allow a vehicle up to around 30ft and site 1 has a pull through but getting out would be tricky due to a fallen tree that makes the campground loop now a one-way. Our Class B would fit in every spot. Each site looked clean and had a table, firering/grill and a separate cooking grill. No water or electrical just pit toilets(2). Easy access and paved roads with camping loop on a gravel road well kept. Only one site occupied while there. No bugs in late March but temps were cooler. Sites are $5/day but believe National Park Pass waives fee. Approximately 15 miles to gas or local small town shopping. Park doesnt look like it's used much but no trash or damage. Would stay again for sure.
Corndog Caravan would stay here again
