Nantahala Hideaway Campground & Cabins

This campground was purchased by a nice retiring couple and is no longer Nelson’s. Site are reasonably level. Lightly improved ground, some with gravel. Only issue is the utilities are on the non-standard side of sites. There are rv sites and cabins on the lower side rod properties, and both primitive and improved campsite on the upper end of the campground. There are also some rv sites for smaller units in the upper areas. Bathhouse is in between upper and lower campgrounds. Full hookup and surprising WiFi - was able to use for streaming. Firewood prices were terrific ($5).

This campground is on hwy 74 right before the Nantahala area. It is terrific for those rafting or fly fishing the area. If your pulling a larger rv then can chat with them for site recommendations. They are very nice.
