We stayed in this campground in April, that was a low season. Therefore, it was quiet and not crowded - very enjoyable. What I liked the most was a lot of open grassy areas around campground, which make our walks with dogs very pleasant. The staff was very helpful. Of course, the location of this KOA - right in the middle of the two Bourbon areas - Bardstown and Louisville - makes it very attractive. It was perfect location for us. We have a video about this campground and our favorite distilleries on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers - Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Episode 7.

Stayed here for a week since it was closer to Bourbon trail and to a music festival venue. Had a premium patio site with built in firepit. Site #283. Great shade and fit our 42' rig and truck. As others have noted, side to side was unlevel but the Anderson levelers did their job. Very nice pool still open and nice play areas. There is some airplane traffic but not too intrusive. Laundry was great, bathrooms clean (but with a weird odor). T-mobile Internet was blazing fast at 300+Mbps. You pay for all of this, but we needed the location .... Enjoy! 4.5 stars

We were placed in site 382, which was at the back of the campground. Wifi was non-existent and our site required significant leveling. Pool is nice, as is the camp store, but when you're paying KOA prices you expect the amenities to be there. Will avoid if possible.

While it rained a ton, the facilities were overall really nice and there are a ton of activities here for families and it’d be a great place to stay if you have kids or a big group. Laundry room and shower facilities are good with laundry in working order. T-mobile service was also great. Our site was a pull through right by the front and pretty unlevel. Took a couple tries to get it right but overall it was a decent stay. Road in and out is a little curvy, but nothing crazy.

Quiet campground, spaces were close together, no highway noise at this KOA. Hot showers and clean restroom, shower water pressure was outstanding! Electric and water at tent site along with picnic table and fire ring. Big trees to provide cover/ shade. Everyone we encountered (not many) were friendly.
In the daylight I saw all the fun looking activities for people to do while staying there. We did not look into these due to getting back on the road quickly. Overall a positive experience!

It was pretty late so we drove around to another empty site. In the morning i went to the office to settle up and the handiman gave me sh*t. When we tried to fill our propane on the way out, once again, the same guy with the same attitude. KOAs are more expensive but if you travel like us, we expect a certain hospitality. I wouldnt come back.

Chill environment. Good for families. Really nice pool and a jump pad. I thought the premium sites were a bit overpriced but very nice and better than some of the others in the park.

Stayed 1/1/20. This park has a good number of amenities and although we only stayed one night we were impressed with the facilities. Its location is not only near Louisville but also near several distilleries on the bourbon trail. The after hours check in process was easy. Our night was quiet and we would stay here again.
